Everything is going up so quickly! The framing is complete, we have windows, and the shingles are waiting to be installed on the roof. One issue that arose recently is our address number. All of our paperwork says our address will be 800, while the number they spray painted yesterday says 804 and our neighbor to the right (which is now completed) says 806. We loved 800, and while it's not a huge deal to us that it's changed, how hard will it be to change the paperwork for our purchase agreement and loan? Has anyone else encountered this?
Will post pictures later this morning!
I don't think it will be a big deal. You re-sign all your mortgage paperwork at closing anyway.
ReplyDeleteWe had to change lots because of a contingency (long story) and they had to change all of our paperwork because the address was wrong. I would contact your loan officer and let them know that there may be a discrepancy in the address. That way, they can take care of everything ahead of time. Good luck with your build. I look forward to seeing some pictures of your home.
ReplyDeleteWe went to the sales office and signed a "Change of Address" form, and so far it looks like that's all we need to do! Thank you for the well wishes Rachel, your home is beautiful! I wish a single family was an option for us right now! I love seeing everyone's homes come together, and I hope to post much more often now that things have settled down some for us.
